MOST EXPENSIVE TYRES IN THE WORLD

Posted on September 18, 2022September 26, 2022 By Master Henry No Comments on MOST EXPENSIVE TYRES IN THE WORLD

We have mostly concentrated on enhancing a car’s outside appeal in several publications. We are sure that our readers learned something interesting and new. But today, we’ll get back to our fundamentals: tyres. As the majority of you are aware, PitStopArabia began as an online tyre retailer. Therefore, we shall discuss tyres in this essay. However, instead of the typical subjects like various tyre comparisons, we would like to talk about the most costly tyres in the world. Let’s begin. Its always good idea to have knowledge of heavy duty towing near me.

1. LETOURNEAU L-2350 FRONT-LOADER TYRES

Do you know what earth-moving equipment is? If you haven’t, there’s no reason to be concerned. The term “earthmoving machinery” refers to massive construction projects’ typical usage of heavy-duty vehicles for carrying huge loads. Due to the enormous size of these vehicles, it is now necessary to have tyres that can support both cargo and the vehicle’s weight. The LeTourneau L-2350 front-loader tyres are presented here. They each cost $63,000.

2. CATERPILLAR 797 DUMP TRUCK TYRES

We present to you yet another earthmoving device, the Caterpillar 797 Dump Truck. The Michelin 59/80R63 XDR is the tyre that powers them. They are a massive 5.3 tonnes in weight. It’s not shocking that they each cost $42,500.

3. BUGATTI VEYRON TIRES

One of the world’s fastest cars is the Veyron. However, you need tyres that are just as supportive if you wish to travel at their top speed. With this, we present the $10,000 per tyre Michelin Pilot Sport PAX (run-flat) 245/690 R520 tyres that are specifically made for the Veyron.

4. SPACE SHUTTLE

Michelin also creates tyres for space shuttles, like the Veyron. Considering that they must support the full weight of the shuttle while landing, these tyres weigh 56 tonnes. They can travel at 420 km/hr and cost $5,500 apiece. The fact that these tyres are not as large as one might expect is surprising. Rather, they are no larger than regular luxury SUV tyres.

5. MONSTER TRUCK TYRES

At the very least in videos, we have all seen monster trucks. There are specialised motorsport competitions that include monster trucks in nations like the US. Specially crafted tyres are necessary for these massive trucks (2.6 m in height and 1.7 m in width). Such huge tyres are produced by very few tyre manufacturers. Goodyear and Firestone are two well-known manufacturers of hand-cut tyres for monster trucks. Each tyre typically costs $2,500.

6. BOEING 747 TYRES

One would assume that the tyres for one of the biggest airliners in the world would rank higher. However, that is untrue. When compared to the cost of Veyron tyres, a Boeing 747 tire’s $2000 price tag doesn’t seem like much. Nitrogen is used to fill the tyres of aeroplanes.

7. FORMULA ONE TYRES

Formula One racing is a global phenomenon. Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher, among others, have contributed significantly to putting the sport on the international stage. The only supplier of tyres for Formula One competitions is Pirelli. The typical tyre lifespan is 200 km or less. The cost per tyre was $1,500.

SPECIAL MENTION

We want to make a special note. I assume that we have all read stories about Sheikhs and their opulent tastes. Well, let’s add one more tale to the collection. The priciest tyres in the world were created by the Dubai-based company Z Tyre. What makes them unique? Well, they have 24-karat gold leaf and finely chosen diamond stones. While the gold work was done in Dubai, the diamonds were applied in Italy. They cost a staggering US$600,000!
